Slime Yourself Out

A long time ago, in a far away land, in a tall tower, hidden between the mountains a genie was sealed away for thousands of years. Many adventurers sought after this genie, but he was never found, for the container that the genie was sealed in was not a golden lamp...

But instead, a tiny golden crown, no larger than an apple. And years ago, this crown fell into the pipes of the castle, swept away by water, where nobody could ever hope to find it...

And so the genie would wait, year after year, century after century...

Until one day, by the most unlikely of chances, a lowly slime happened to crawl into the crown. And so, you, The King Slime was born! And now to escape this prison, you are going to have to find a way to..........

SLIME YOURSELF OUT

This game was made from scratch over the weekend using GameMakerStudio2  for the 2024 GMTK Game Jam! The theme was "Built to Scale" So in this game you can shrink and grow your character in order to get through a short gauntlet of puzzle and physics platforming.

Special thanks to Krissy, for making me food all weekend. Nova for drawing the introduction Slide, and ZiiVii for helping come up with the idea for the game and playtesting.
